Debbie Zimmerman
At an early age, Debbie Zimmerman vowed a lifestyle of prevention fearing she would face many of the debilitating diseases that plagued her family tree—heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Her commitment to an active lifestyle as an aerobic fitness instructor and personal trainer complimented her position as the Wellness Manager for Polk County Schools, the first school district in the nation to have an organized wellness program. During her 30-year career in corporate wellness, she was recognized and awarded on both state and national levels for her leadership in health care cost containment and disease management.

Debbie is the founder of PhytoFit, LLC; her mission is to teach the benefits of a whole food, plant-based lifestyle for optimal health and wellbeing. From the corporate client to individuals, Debbie motivates her audience to make lifestyle modifications to prevent and reverse chronic diseases.

Debbie holds certifications in Lifestyle Medicine and Health Coaching, Plant-Based Nutrition, Group Fitness and Personal Training. She is a licensed and certified Food for Life Instructor through the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. She has a Bachelor of Science, Health Care Administration and Master of Business Administration from St. Leo University. Debbie co-founded Polk Wellness Professionals in 2011.
Kelly Andrews

Kelly Andrews is the founder of Kelly Andrews LLC, a Wellness Coaching & Consulting business. She assists individuals, groups and communities in evolving to their greatest capacity through healthy, happy heart-centered living.

Passionate about corporate wellness, Kelly has been leading teams in the Health and Wellness field for over 20 years.

Her diverse experience and educational background make her uniquely quali#ed to serve in a variety of settings including corporate, higher education, non-profit, medical and fitness centers. As a Certified Wellness Coach, Holistic Stress Management Instructor, Yoga Instructor, and HeartMath® Trainer, Kelly shares paths to stress reduction, greater teamwork, and finding peace within.

Kelly has a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology from University of Tennessee and a Master’s in Athletic Administration from Florida State University. She lives in Lakeland, Florida with her husband Bill Andrews and their two cats Smoke and Cali.

Alison Kennedy Hand
Ms. Hand is the director of wellness at Florida Presbyterian Homes and has been there for almost ten years. She has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Health Promotion and has worked in the field of wellness for over twenty years. She has held positions as a Clinical Exercise Specialist in outpatient rehabilitation and in corporate wellness with Johnson & Johnson. She holds several certifications that include Certified Medical Exercise Specialist, Group Fitness Instructor, Aquatic Exercise, and is a Master Trainer for A Matter of Balance. She is also a member of the Coalition on Injury Prevention’s, Falls Task Force. Her areas of specialty are older adult exercise and the 7 dimensions of wellness. When she is not at work she enjoys running, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family.
Juli Davis
Juli Davis is the Tobacco Program Manager for the Polk County Health Department. Juli has been in prevention for 20 years and has been in drug prevention for 10 years. She has her BS Degree in Elementary Education from Northwest Missouri State University and moved to Lakeland after she graduated in 1992. She has been married to Victor for 28 years and has 2 daughters, a son-in-law and three grandchildren. She is available to assist worksites with providing tobacco cessation resources and to save businesses time and money due to reduced productivity and medical costs by assisting them in strengthening their tobacco policies.
Brittany Lynn
Brittany is a Corporate Wellness Consultant with over ten years of wellness experience guiding others to a better lifestyle that meets their personal and professional needs. She has a passion for helping others gain equitable healthcare by forming a strategy to create and maintain a culture of health. She can bring a variety of wellness services onsite or virtually to your organization to include topics such as emotional wellbeing, physical activity, and balanced nutrition.
Donna Kay Dinkins
Donna Kay Dinkins has been the Community Outreach Liaison with Helping Hand Nursing Services since July 2018. You will often see Donna Kay at the Lakeland Chamber events and Better Living for Seniors meetings. Donna Kay is a good networker and is always looking to create new connections among our senior community.
Donna Kay was born in Ohio but moved to Central Florida in 2015 to enjoy the year-round warmer weather and to be closer to the beaches. She has a B.S. in Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati. After ending her career as a Chemist, Donna Kay transitioned herself into Sales and Marketing. By combining her passion for seniors and her marketing skills, it made Donna Kay a good fit to work in the Home Care Industry.
In her spare time, Donna Kay enjoys teaching others about health and wellness with her certifications in Nutrition and Wellness Coaching as well as being a Fitness Instructor specializing in the senior population. Donna Kay is married to the love of her life, Michael Dinkins, and has 3 boys, 2 granddaughters, and a cat named Benjamin Franklin.
